ATAN2
The ATAN2 function returns the angle between the x-axis and a line segment from the origin (0,0) to the specified coordinate pair (`x`,`y`), in radians.### Sample Usage
ATAN2(4,3)
ATAN2(A2)
Syntax
ATAN2(x,y)
x
- The x coordinate of the endpoint of the line segment for which to calculate the angle from the x-axis.y
- The y coordinate of the endpoint of the line segment for which to calculate the angle from the x-axis.
Notes
- Use the
DEGREES
function to convert the result ofATAN
into degrees.
